MatchBOX Makerspace is located inside the MatchBOX Coworking Studio in Downtown Lafayette, Indiana

MatchBOX Makerspace operates within the MatchBOX Coworking Studio, a 501c3 non-profit organization. We're here for you if you need a place to build a prototype for your startup business, you're a hobbyist looking for a place to build, you’re brand new to 3D rapid prototyping and want to learn from scratch, or you’d just like to find others in our community interested in the same things as you with access 24-hours a day.

You’ll find something interesting going on in our space daily, as we’re always making something new! We have over 40 different physical product-based businesses that work out of our space, many of which do the prototyping here but some that only work out of our space.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, we are able to offer FREE office hours with our expert staff of makers to learn and ask questions as well as some FREE workshops to members, events, and weekly programs. You also get access to MatchBOX Coworking Studio itself and all of our events, programs, and amenities too.

History of our space

We started as an idea, then a prototyping LAB to assist MatchBOX Coworking Members, and now we're a Makerspace supporting Greater Lafayette, Indiana's hobbyists, tinkerers, makers, entrepreneurs, artisans, gamers, and inventors.
